Are you in need of a physiotherapist? You’ve come to the right place!
What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy, also known as Physical Therapy, is a health care profession that provides treatment to individuals to help develop, restore and maintain maximum movement and function throughout life. Treatments may be necessary as the result of: injury, disease, aging or other environmental factors (improper work station, prolonged sitting, etc). In order to re-establish the prior functional capacity, a physiotherapist will use a combination of hands-on techniques, exercises and modalities.
A physiotherapist is a University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physiotherapy program, recognized and ascribed by L’Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Quebec (OPPQ), allowing them to practice physiotherapy in the Province.
