Rubab Moiz, M.Sc.PhT.
Rubab earned her Master of Science (Applied) in Physical Therapy from McGill University, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Growing up watching and playing sports with her brothers, and experiencing rehabilitation herself, sparked her curiosity in how the body heals and regains full ability, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Speaking English, French, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, she connects easily with clients from diverse backgrounds. As someone who enjoys weightlifting, volleyball, and hiking, Rubab has a particular interest in sports physiotherapy and helping athletes safely return to the activities they love. Her approach combines hands-on techniques, exercise, and practical lifestyle strategies to promote recovery, enhance performance, and prevent re-injury. By tailoring her care to each client’s goals, Rubab helps them stay engaged in their rehabilitation and achieve lasting results
Tristan Bourgie, BSc Kin and MSc PhT.
Tristan has a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa and an Honours degree in Kinesiology from McGill University. Since 2019, Tristan has also been a personal trainer, offering a comprehensive approach to health and fitness. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, he connects with a wide range of clients, guiding them through rehabilitation and fitness journeys. Tristan, who practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Powerlifting, is passionate about helping athletes and active individuals return to their sports as quickly and safely as possible. His personalized, evidence-based care ensures clients receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
Meghan Straub, B.Sc., M.Sc. PhT., LVL3 Upper&Lower Quadrants
Meghan Straub, B.Sc., M.Sc A. PhT., is a 2013 graduate of McGill University with a Master of Applied Science in physical therapy. Meghan was first exposed to the domain of pediatric physical therapy when her young nephew was diagnosed with cancer. In addition to working at Cappino, Meghan treats patients at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She completed her levels 1, 2 and 3 Upper and Lower Quadrants with the Association Québécoise de Physiothérapie Manuelle Orthopédique (AQPMO). Meghan is also the proud recipient of several awards, notably from The Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and her mission with Physiothérapie Sans Frontières in Ecuador won a sponsorship from the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). Emilie Proulx, T.phys.
Émilie is a Physiotherapy Technologist, a graduate of Cégep Montmorency and a member of the OPPQ since 2018. She also completed training as a massage therapist and physiotherapist at the Academy of Scientific Massage in 2019 and is a member of the RMPQ. Wishing to deepen her skills, she is currently completing training as an orthotherapist.
Whether it be for returning to their activities or returning to work, Émilie holds the well-being of her customers at heart. She believes that what makes a treatment successful above all is the client’s involvement and active participation. Each case is different, deserving a unique approach and personalized treatment.
Kelly Cappadocia, B.Sc PhT, Cred. MDT
Kelly Cappadocia, B.Sc PhT, Cred. MDT, is a 2002 graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. She is Cappino’s Co-Founder, Clinical Director, and Head Concussion Therapist. An avid skier from the tender age of 14 months, Kelly combined her twin passions for sports and medicine into a career in physiotherapy. In 2004, she became a credentialed McKenzie Therapist, focusing on the treatment of neck and back pain. Kelly has also completed Manual Therapy Levels 1, E2 and V2, McKenzie Parts A, B, C, D, E and Accreditation Examination, Mulligan’s Concept: Lower Quadrant and Upper Quadrant, Lyn Watson: Shoulder Course Levels 1 + 2, Shirley Sahrmann: Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement System Impairment Syndromes, Level 1, and Sports Taping and K-Taping courses. Having successfully completed advanced courses in concussion rehabilitation techniques, Kelly is now a Level 2 Shift Concussion Management Provider. Martin Sauvé, B.Sc. PhT
Martin Sauvé is a 1991 graduate from the University of Laval with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. He quickly began his training in manual therapy to complete his E3-V3, and has regularly continued to take courses and training to expand his expertise. In 2014, he completed a course in dry needling physiotherapy, which is a technique to effectively treat chronic muscular tension and pain. Martin is passionate about treating jogging and running related injuries and is eager to work with his clients to get them back to their pre injury state quickly and effectively!
Amanda Fiorello, MSc(A)Erg.
Amanda Fiorello is a licensed Occupational Therapist and a McGill University graduate with over 10 years of experience. She supports clients through a variety of rehabilitation journeys, including physical rehabilitation, concussion management, and mental health, always with a holistic approach that considers the whole person—body, mind, and environment.
Passionate about occupational therapy, Amanda loves helping people regain their independence, reach their goals, and enjoy the activities that matter most to them. Her practice is guided by compassion, collaboration, and the belief that everyone deserves to thrive.
Outside of work, she enjoys trying new recipes, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
Justin Castellano, D.O.
Justin Castellano graduated from the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal in 2020. Justin’s holistic approach focuses on helping clients regain internal balance and health through the use of manual therapy techniques that address a wide range of ailments. He treats adults as well as pregnant women and babies. His areas of interest are sports injuries, concussions, and neck/back pain. Justin is eager to help his clients on their road to recovery and healthier living.
Thomas Gautier, D.O.
Thomas Gautier, D.O., is a graduate of the centre Européen d’Enseignement supérieur de l’Ostéopathie in Paris and a Doctor of Osteopathy. Thomas’s international experience includes 6 months spent in India perfecting Ayurvedic massage techniques and training in the Gesret Method, a technique used to treat asthma. His work with sports teams includes 2 years as an official osteopath for a rugby and basketball team. Thomas’s varied experience lends itself to an approach that is gentle and unique. Anton Sheremet, D.O.
Anton Sheremet, D.O., was certified by the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques in 2021 and then in 2023 by the Institut d’enseignement de l’Ostéopathie du Québec. He also has been working as a kinesiologist since 2006 with more than 15 years experience in the readaptation field. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with specialization in “Olympic and Professional Sport” in 2006 from the Institut d’État de la culture physique in Lviv (Ukraine), writing his final research work about scoliosis and kyphosis.. In 2005, Anton was the Junior European bodybuilding champion. His personal passion is tennis!
Caroline Lavoie, D.O.
A McGill B.Sc.Physiotherapy graduate in 1993, Caroline Lavoie has worked many years with the Varsity athletes, student body and staff of the University. In the late 1990‘s, she was responsible for the pool rehabilitation of the Montreal Canadiens.
She completed her Osteopathy Diploma from Centre Ostéopathique du Québec in 2001. She was the consultant in osteopathy for the Montreal Alouettes for a few years and in 2004 was part of the medical team for the Canadian Paralympic Team at the Athens Summer Paralympic Games.
For many years now, she has worked with a diversified clientele ranging from newborns, to children to the active population of all ages. She has worked in the West Island of Montreal as a physiotherapist/osteopath since 2008.
Chloé Berthe-Pasturel, I.O.
Chloé Berthe-Pasturel, I.O., is an osteopathy intern. She holds a Master’s degree in Science and Biotechnology and is currently completing her studies in osteopathy at the Institut d’Enseignement de l’Ostéopathie du Québec. Before dedicating herself to osteopathy, she worked for several years in the field of immunology, both in academic research and the pharmaceutical industry. This experience allowed her to develop strong scientific rigor and analytical skills, which she now applies in her work with clients. Empathetic and attentive, Chloé offers a gentle, personalized, and holistic osteopathic approach. Each consultation is designed as a collaborative process, respecting the client’s pace, needs, and goals, with a focus on long-term well-being.
Sylvain L. Trudel
Sylvain L. Trudel is a 1987 graduate of the Collège de Médecine Chinoise et Culturelle and an acupuncturist. Sylvain has extensive experience in addressing musculoskeletal pain, including back, neck and joint discomfort. He also works on the treatment of hormonal disorders such as premenstrual syndrome, menopause and issues related to the menstrual cycle. Additionally, he assists individuals dealing with insomnia. Anna Melone, RMT
Anna Melone, RMT, brings over 10 years of experience to her massage therapy practice at Cappino. She is a Registered Massage Therapist and an associate member of ANQ & ACDM and specializes in therapy techniques such as myofascial release, kinetic Swedish massage, and deep tissue massage. She stumbled into massage thanks to a twist of fate and considers it one of the best decisions she’s ever made. She is certified in cranial massage, Japanese facial massage, phytotherapy (herbology), lymphatic drainage, deep tissue massage, chair massage and pre-natal massage. Charles-Édouard Jarry, BSc Kin
Charles-Édouard is a recent graduate from the kinesiology program of McGill University. He chose his profession to help people live healthy and pain-free lifestyles not only for the present but the future as well. His internships with the various varsity teams at McGill University confirmed his passion for kinesiology and physical activity. Charles-Édouard has also gained clinical and technical certification for the KneeKG/ kneegraphy and wishes to expand his knowledge and become certified as a concussion management specialist. Passionate about sports, the outdoors and reading, he is eager to pass on his passion for physical activity to his clients. Charles’ next goal: to continue his studies to complete a master’s degree.
Jennifer Abdulezer, P.Dt
Jennifer Abdulezer P.Dt is a Professional Dietitian and Nutritionist and a member of the Ordre Professionnel des Diététistes du Québec (OPDQ). A graduate from McGill University, she recently returned to study at the University of Montreal, updating her knowledge with current nutrition guidelines in order to always ensure the best care for her clients. Jennifer maintains a strong philosophy that food and health are interrelated, as our food and lifestyle choices are key to sustaining and achieving overall health and wellness. Jennifer works directly with individuals of all ages with a variety of issues, from simple healthy living, to sports nutrition to managing chronic illness. Since no two individuals are alike, she works with each client individually, tailoring programs for their specific needs. When she’s not counselling clients one on one, Jennifer leads seminars and workshops geared towards all age groups on a variety of nutrition related topics. “I strongly believe in empowering individuals of any age, by teaching them the importance of proper nutrition as it relates to their physical and mental health.”
Corrie Sirota, M.S.W., P.S.W.
Corrie Sirota, M.S.W., P.S.W., holds a Master of Social Work, a graduate certificate in loss and bereavement, and is a member of the Order of Social Work and Psychotherapy. She is the author of Someone Died…Now What? A Personal and Professional Perspective on Coping with Grief and Loss. Corrie is the co-host on Life Unrehearsed every weekend on CJAD 800 radio. She strives to accompany individuals through their challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental way. Corrie’s areas of interest include bereavement, postpartum, post-surgery and the elderly. Dr. Jason Khoury, M.D.
Dr. Khoury completed his medical school training and orthopeadic surgery residency at McGill University. He then completed subspeciality training in upper extremity surgery at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre at Western University. This was followed by a second fellowship in knee reconstruction at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Khoury also completed a Master of Science in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the University of Toronto. He has experience using the latest techniques in sports-related and degenerative disease of the shoulder, elbow and knee. His academic focus in continuous quality improvement implements data-driven strategies to optimize the operating room and clinical environments. At the core of his academic and clinical practice is the desire to deliver the highest quality of care to his patients. He is fluent in both English and French.
